How it all started...
My name is Francesca Kanu Nielsen. I was born in Sierra Leone January 18 1987. I came to Denmark April 2000 with my family as an refugee from the civil war.
I am the Founder/ CEO of Help The Youth Foundation. The organization was founded on the 2nd of September 2017, where we did a fund-raiser for the flood victims in Sierra Leone.
The reason I decided to start the organization called (Help The Youth Foundation) its cause of I have been in a lot of struggles and obstacles in my life at my younger years, but i had to overcome them in some manner.
I had to think that i had something to life for in life and that i was here for a reason.
One of my struggles in my life was losing my father at the war when I was 5 years old.. So seeing kids struggling in this world reminds me of my childhood. I always said when I grow up, I want to help young kids / Youth.
